1. My Next Move:
This free 60-question Career Aptitude Test seeks to examine the candidate’s right career by asking questions related to their dislikes and likes. It is organized by the United States Department of Labour. The assessment offers a list of task options such as “Develop a new medicine” or “Sell and buy bonds and stocks”. They can select among five choices for each option such as “Dislike”, “Strongly Dislike”, “Like”, “Unsure”, and “Strongly Like”. They’ll be offered with career options at the end of the test.
2. Big Five Personality Test:
The scientific personality test seeks to exactly measure one’s key personality traits. Here each statement gets rated according to how well each one of them describes it. The score is received from the five top personality factors such as conscientiousness, openness, agreeableness, extraversion, and neuroticism. The test involves 60 questions and it takes nearly about 10 minutes to complete.
3. Career Explorer Test:
Career Explorer uses psychometrics, career satisfaction data and advanced machine learning to design the assignment. The basic test is free while the premium report is expensive. This Career Aptitude Test provides a series of questions that reflect upon one’s future goals and past experiences. Suggested careers are then based on the candidate’s goals, interests, workplace preferences, history and personality.
4. Myers-Briggs Type Indicator:
This Career Aptitude Test is known for being one of the most accurate one and it is a paid version as well. There is also a free version known as Jung Typology test which is a personality assessment that presents a series of 64 statements. The candidates can choose whether they agree or not with each statement. Their answers are analyzed and the test provides occupations and careers that are most suitable according to each one’s personality.
5. Rasmussen University Test:
The Rasmussen University Career Aptitude Test analyzes each one’s interests and skills to offer career recommendations. This test allows candidates to adjust sliders for various categories instead of working off a question basis so that it represents their personality skills. A list of career suggestions based on the data given will then be provided.
6. Careerfitter Free Online Test:
A free career report can be received when this test gets completed. This test consists of 60 questions which nearly takes about 10 minutes to complete. It analyses four aspects that contribute to the basement of each one’s personality including their decision style, energy, perception and planning style. This free career report includes information such as how much money can be earned in careers, the field that should be considered, and the number of specific careers that fits according to each one’s personality.
7. Princeton Review Career Quiz:
This career quiz consists of 24 questions that contain two different scenarios. The best scenario can be chosen that suits each one of them. The “recommended careers” and the “interest results” will be received when the selection is made from all the questions.
8. MyPlan Career Assessment Test:
This is a value based Career Aptitude Test that would help the candidates learn more about their underlying work motivations and needs that would assist in deciding the importances of jobs. It consists of 20 statements or cards and takes about 12 minutes to complete. The cards that are related to various aspects of work can be grouped and identified about the importance of each statement. This test is conducted for identifying a career that relates to each one’s work values as this highly ties up with job satisfaction.
9. MAPP Test:
The MAPP test is a bit more acute than some of the other career aptitude tests where the results are extensive. The candidates will be presented with 71 different groups which includes three different statements a piece with this test. It would normally take about 20 minutes to complete. While the test is free of cost to take, there is an amount of fee that needs to be paid for reviewing full results. However, the results will be very reliable when the fee is paid successfully.
10. 123 Career Aptitude Test:
This test nearly takes about 5-10 minutes to complete. It’s a visual form of assessment that offers 15 sets of four pictures that show particular work activities. If a particular activity is liked by the candidates, then they can click on the green arrow and if it is disliked then they can click on the red “x”. An activity that is the most desired and disliked can be chosen by the candidates. This test helps in identifying which kind of work environments and occupations would suit the best for each one of them.
